I actually don’t even like it that much. Ngl it plays off a lot of things too unserioudly even though they’re serious topics? And I’ve seen this done better with works by like Harada, but this felt more so like it’s slightly grazing it and teeter tottering on if it wants to be taken seriously or not. For example: the seme’s whole backstory? Cuz it jsut seemed to me like the seme slept with an adult man when he was clearly younger and he cries it as “fond memories.” Like I get that his standards of living are different FOR HIM but it’s just not… it’s not. I don’t even have words for it. And yeah the second volume is really wierd at some point I just had to scroll quickly cuz hmmm…
