yeah if people had the money to pay, why would they pay them when they instead could be buying from where the actual creator profits.. putting a link to their kofi or paypal would make sense to me but paywalling something that they arent even supposed to be profiting from is audacity
at least sometimes a new translation from another person who does it for free appears. you just have to look hard or wait for it to get a bit more popular
