Same author as Under the Oak Tree

Someone said this is a sequel from under the oak tree, setting waaay back before. Is that true?

From the spoilers I read, Thalia is Maxi's great grandmother and the kingdom has yet to be divided into 7 so it's a prequel of Under the Oak Tree.
