ML or MC it's all the same, currently authors tend to just make walking red flags then just expect the reader to forgive it all just like the wronged character does

It might be just me but I hate it when authors make their MC do something bad or wrong in their relationship and then completely distract the readers from it by making the ml do something so out of character (forcing themselves on the mc for example) it's like they want the readers to think the MC does no wrong. Sorry for my rant.
