Tbh I just really hope she is not going to somehow turn out to be his daughter and got switched or something or whatever and survived. Like, the man has grieved. Allow him to work through it and learn to love instead of going "SIKE, IT WAS YOUR DAUGHTER ALL ALONG AND THATS WHY YOU WERE SOMEHOW ATTATCHED TO HER!!!" Especially since he seems to be moving in a positive direction. I guess itd feel like a cop out and less impactful but wtv.
