Was not expecting this. Really love the self confidence arc. Usually, there's a focus on the appearance and not really on the personality and flaws of MC. While her fiance is a cheating piece of shit, she recognized she let him drain her self esteem and destroyed her confidence simply because of a long forgotten past. I truly liked seeing sisterhood with amandine and princess (even if it doesn't make a lot of sense) While it's kind of fast paced and doesn't take itself too seriously, it's really nice to see in a genre that is often male centered and deeply lacking relationships and bonding between female characters.
I feel a bit of tension between amandine and Janet. I thought at first amandine was the boy from her childhood, because, at the time, he knew how to do hair but then mysterious knight is here so I don't really know who is who. Think the knight is probably the princess's cousin.
What I'm sure of is: Douglas is not the kid from her childhood. Way to trashy and self absorbed, and he doesn't resemble him at all.
I think there's two possibilities : - amandine and mysterious knight are the same person because she referred to herself as her " amandine form" at one point - amandine is not the same as the knight and then I have no clue on what her background would be
