Nah Jaehyuk should NOT be the one begging on his knees. Did you fucking forget how Garam left him in silence for HOURS on the phone when he asked him if he wanted to break up?? All he had to say was a no, but he couldn’t even do that.
To Jaehyuk, this isn’t about homophobia. This is about Garam not taking their relationship as seriously as him. He’s hurting himself, since he still loves Garam deeply, yet he’s never felt that same reassurance from Jaehyuk.
Garam has only been projecting his traumas onto Jaehyuk without ever talking it out with him. He CHOSE to run away. He CHOSE to stay silent. His past explains his actions but doesn’t excuse them. He needs to work past it himself, if he ever wants to have a relationship, and blaming the other person, thinking they’re in the wrong, without even considering their feelings is fucked up.
For Jaehyuk, the thing that would hurt him most was always Garam pushing him away. Yet, Garam left without even telling him, and said nonsense about ping it for him. He was not doing anything for Jaehyuk. He was doing it to protect himself and it was a selfish thing to do for someone in a relationship.
So, I’m sorry, but Jaehyuk better not be the one apologizing this time. He’s always had to be the one that takes the first step. It’s a completely unhealthy balance in their relationship. Garam needs to realize that if he truly wants this relationship, he needs to take a risk and actually trust Jaehyuk for once in their relationship. And he better fucking apologize.
I swear, if the author fucking pulls an ass move of Garam collapsing and that makes Jaehyuk apologize, I’m going to be pissed. Garam was clearly in the wrong with how he handled everything, causing everything to snowball, so he needs to be held accountable too.

Totally respect your opinion, but I don’t think it’s fair to say jaehyuk has been nothing but a green flag. He has continuously lied about not very small things. Also cutting off your family or friends for your partner puts a huge weight on one’s partner. No one wants to be the reason their partner cuts off friends or family. All that to say it doesn’t really matter who says sorry first or who has been the greener flag for longer, as I think they’re both equally in the wrong. Each only sees their own perspective and is only giving cursory thought to the other’s.

Miscommunication at its finest, the reason I find Jaehyuk more problematic is because he is negatively impacting Garam’s social life. This goes way beyond their uni love relationship and has actual consequences while Garam is just a traumatised man who isn’t able to communicate for shit so he contributes to the toxicity of their relationship. I think the mahwaga will do something to emphasise that soon
