No im with you, i haate the "evil white lotus sister" trope. Im fine with melissa being a passive aggressive bitch to kiana or being an annoying airhead, i just dont want her to be *Secretly Unredemably Evil The Whole Time*.
I want her motivation to be that shes also a fucked up traumatized orphan who feels insecure about her place in the family so she goes "imnottouchingyouimnottouchingyou" until kiana blows up.
I can totally see melissa feeling like the odd one out as the only cousin among siblings, so she feels jealous of kiana, the same way kiana felt jealous of melissa(for having prellai looks). And tbf, kiana saying *my* uncle wouldnt even remember ur name IS a mean thing to say.
And even if melissa *was* a plant from the beginning, she was a small child, so the adults manipulating her should be the ones held at fault, just like the Pughes/purves who targeted kiana
