Idk there’s a lot here that works but doesn’t. The whole dickwad having a crush and acting like… a dick. The lackey. The brother with an intense dependency and PTSD from their father’s death. All things on paper that sound for an interesting story.
But it just doesn’t quite hit any of the marks right. It’s like barely grazing some of it.
The whole ML having a crush originally on the dickwad and then doing those things to MC before he realized he liked the MC… it’s whack? It doesn’t feel like it either. The dickwad having his own issues falls flat and the fact he assaulted the MC like twice in this is just bad taste. Not to mention it’s literally the last time you even see the MC and anyone for that matter getting nasty so :/ And the brother was so… weird. I give him a lil more grace cuz given he lost his parents during incredibly rough times and that built his worry an obsession however it’s minuscule the grace I give cuz it was still too weird.
