This is just spoilers on how Jun is treated during highschool btw
At first he’d actually display the tension between the two like how ur seeing in the manhwa right now, by interacting with him in a rude way. From what i remember this doesn’t happen for very long because eventually he starts to just completely ignore Jun and act indifferent! Jun’s fall from the top of the hierarchy in this school definitely takes a toll on his mental health and ruins his social life. Without the protection and status of being Yohan’s best friend, Yohan’s classmates also start treating him differently even picking on him, definitely out of jealousy for his academics and also because he’s technically now on Yohan’s “bad side” so of course these followers are gonna start going against Jun aswell.
However , Jun isn’t completely isolated, you’ll see the two classmates who would occasionally talk to him from time to time during class, but they’re lowk fake friends (im pretty sure towards eachother too). They act nice in front of Jun but they’re lowk fake, definitely heard all the bad things about him and don’t do anything and/or participate in the trashtalking. I’m pretty sure they got this shittalk on Jun from Yohan too but correct me if im wrong. The only person who isn’t fake towards Jun is Jaehyun (the blonde guy who was recently introduced). Jaehyun is just a little wary of being Jun’s friend because he’s scared of Yohan, but despite being scared he still risks being nice and talking to Jun. Jun even tries to develope a crush in Jaehyun to get over Yohan but it doesn’t get anywhere.
Anyways the bullying does intensify and Jun is more insightful towards how he should act now because he’s afraid of humiliation. The worst thing about Yohan during this part of the story is that when Jun was getting ostracized by his peers, he just didn’t do anything! And Jun always noticed this, (he’s quite the overthinker) so when Jun saw that Yohan would just watch him get picked and didn’t do anything, he’d think Yohan was probably making fun of him.
This indifference would eventually last majority of their 3rd year (im pretty sure this is their 3rd yr i don’t remember) but towards the end of their 3rd year Yohan can’t take the fact that Jun isn’t trying to amend things between them and starts taking action for himself (finally). But he’s still an asshole, but I GUESS Jun is kind of back on top of the hierarchy in the school because Yohan made it appear that Jun and him were close again, even announcing to the school that Nun and him were done fighting and just had a quarrel, basically just saying they amended things. Jun on the other hand, is kinda just using Yohan so he can get through the rest of his highschool year easily, and at their graduation ceremony is when Jun ghosts Yohan. Pretty sure Jun moves away for college and doesn’t disclose which college he went to. But Yohan is still obsessed with him and follows him into college. Yohan doesn’t start groveling until their college years though, so it’ll take a really long time until that happens (i think) maybe next season im not sure how fast the pacing will be.
anyways i might’ve missed a few important details or mixed them up but i really enjoy summarizing and writing about the novel, i will definitely reread the novel and upload my thoughts… somewhere….

Sorry for the late reply…. I’ve been busy rereading the novel and it turns out the previous spoiler i sent was a bitttt inaccurate or too vague… I haven’t finished the highschool arc yet so I can’t summarize what happened to Shin Jaehyun but i will definitely get to that if you still want to knowww
