it's hard for me to say whether I like or dislike what's going on… I guess I'm trying to understand what's going on with this story.

Jaehyuk, since the beginning, has always been an offensive open book, loud and inappropriate about his feelings. First, he was loudly and inappropriately homophobic. Now, he's loudly and inappropriately gay. He's someone who never hides who he is. He's the complete opposite of Garam’s ex: makes a decision and sticks to it, loud about who he is, doesn't care about the opinion of others no matter what his current take is lol, if people disapproved of him and Garam he'd still choose Garam (as seen with his parents).

Garam seems to be driven by shame. I'm not sure we've ever really seen Garam truly be himself (except random, short moments in private with Jaehyuk) because he's constantly hiding and holding himself back. Garam lives for everyone except himself.

Realistically, I'd never encourage Garam to “risk it all” in the current society he lives in… but this is a story. I'm curious if this story is more like: Jaehyuk is unabashedly himself to the point where people just accept who he is + Garam, through Jaehyuk, is now being given the opportunity to finally let go and be himself, especially given the fact that he'd be physically and financially taken care of by Jaehyuk if anything happened (not that Garam would like it, but it's there). If anyone messed with Garam, Jaehyuk would have his back, the same way Jaehyuk fought Garam's ex and his own parents. We see that Jaehyuk's finances are never gonna take a hit, either.

I'm not saying I like it. Garam, at this moment, doesn't like it either. But I do feel like Garam really likes how unabashedly open and confident Jaehyuk is because Jaehyuk is everything that Garam isn't. Part of me wishes for Garam to be loud and proud too, to break free of the shackles of his family and those around him, since he finally has a space to do so, finally has someone who would fight to the death with him, unlike his family and ex...

idk if that's where this story is going but it's just my brain trying to connect story points lol sighs anyway I do unfortunately love them and miss them being idiots together .
