Trauma isn't an excuse – but people aren't trophies either.

I feel for both of them deeply. Mincheol isn't an asshole – he's someone who lost everything and is completely broken because of it. That doesn't excuse the pain he caused Haneul, and I want to be clear about that. But there's a huge difference between someone who hurts others because they can, and someone who pushes people away because they don't feel worthy of being loved.

And to everyone saying Haneul should just find someone better – people aren't trophies you swap out when things get complicated. Haneul chose to be there for him. That's her decision to make, not ours.

I really hope these two find their way back to each other.
