There was so many female singers than male singers, I was hoping a male singer that could at least rival mc would show up... All male singers were just mentioned except for MC's two seniors.
Also, about what I felt odd about this story, how do I say this without sounding like I hate the plot... I don't hate the story, but I did find it typically and a rinse and repeat "HE'S AWESOME" type. Every arc ends up with a "Oh, he's a genius and so awesome" and he meets a new character and it repeats again. The odd thing is that everything goes smoothly, too smoothly that it becomes dull and uneventful... Plus I feel like the female characters felt so oddly similar to each other and reacted the same to mc. If any characters stood out for me, it's the occasional pov of MC's fan... They weirdly had more personality than the other characters. The other characters just felt like they should be there to support mc... I'm the type to prefer solid side character's rather than just placing them next to the mc to make the mc look good, So this my just might be my preference talking and a one-sided opinion.
