The anime isn't entirely a good story line up because it rearranges and adds some plotline from the novel to make up for enough storyline for 24 short episodes.
At least, I assume that's that because the way because in this manga, we haven't come across the old couple that tries to set up Shinobu with their 8 y/o.
Is this the first time that fox god appears in manga? I remember when Taisho and Shinobu served her tofu and taro but that turned out to be anime only. If it isn't the case please tell me which chapter she appeared, there's too much chapter to check（/TДT)/
