i read the novel a while ago so i dont recall everything in order, but here are some spoilers
the dad is raped by the priest.
the dad doesn't ever leave or try to leave.
the dad and the son become monogamous.
somewhere after these events he gets pregnant.
that's about it.
Honestly, not suprised by the priest thing I heard about the kids too. Don’t they have like twins or something? Also, I heard he essentially becomes like a stockholm syndrome house husband and finally quits his job after the alphas got so aggressive he almost died. That idiot kept going BACK. i just reread the novel. if you're interested, here's the major events in order after park taweon jerks it sinful style in the confessional booth IF the manwha follows the novel directly:
taewon and sangwoo go on a date
taewon goes to work and is publicly humiliated by yang jinho (blonde guy), taewon snaps and beats the hell out of yang jinho, taewon quits his job
taewon goes to church again and the priest (old guy I think) rapes him
taewon goes home immediately after and sangwoo literally slurps the old priest guy's nuttage out of taweon like the weirdo freak that he is
taewon is stockholm syndromed to the max at this point, mans is broken. taewon is clingy, anxious, and protective of sangwoo, constantly calling sangwoo's phone and disapproving of sangwoo meeting anyone.
taewon sees sangwoo getting bullied at school since word got around that sangwoo was fucking his dad
taewon gets jealous over sangwoo.
sangwoo burns the church down, taewon asks sangwoo to mark him while they're outside the church.
they smash and sangwoo marks taewon, story ends.

Okay, I lowkey need spoilers. I know somewhat how the story ends, but I’ve heard the story doesn’t get any better and is just a pornhwa (which I’m sure is 100% true). But is there any reasoning for adding the religious aspect and what role does it play in the story? Also, does the MC ever grow a DAMN SPINE? He’s literally dumber than a box of rocks I swear. If there was a zombie apocalypse he would never get attacked by them because he doesn’t have a fucking brain. The ability to use common sense constantly chases him, but he’s always too damn fast. He is an idiot. Genuinely.
