Okay so he blames himself for the accident, which is valid, tbh it was indirectly his fault but at the end of the day it's clearly an unfortunate accident and it looks like they had a great relationship after the fact, unless she has some further complications from it they havent stated yet, i dont see how this would affecting him from dating her tbh.
