I think its because of the side couple I don't want to spoil you but there dynamic is kinda toxic and I recommend this but if you dont want to see the side couple is completely up to you ^^
bcs the side story is abt the side couple who one of them is a rapist and the other is like a father figure to him. but aside from that the main story is pretty good you should give it a try

that bothers me too actually it’s been so long since I read this but if I remember it right the top hit him in the head until he bleed and passed out and raped him while he’s unconscious, it’s so terrible. I thought he would be punished or something but turns out the author made them into side couple, I am so maddd but luckily they didn’t appear that much in the main story (i think?) and the relationship between main couple is so cute and healthy, and the plot is so interesting and different than any other story, without the side couple this would be a masterpiece
May I know why everyone hates the side story? I'm planning on reading this one and I think they're interesting?
