Right I thought so too, but I think they’ll flesh out her character later. I’m assuming they’re building the base, and when some sort of issues come along, the dynamics between the mc and her friends will be more apparent. Authors playing it safe, but it’s reflects how mc is also playing it safe until she’s built a better foundation ig.
