omg so many incredible manga, including yaoi and yuri, found a home under TOKYOPOP. i’ve always really admired how they believe every kind of romance deserves to be celebrated. that’s honestly why i always try to support my favorite manga through TOKYOPOP whenever i can. it makes me sad hearing about their recent sales struggles :( i genuinely hope the best for TOKYOPOP and hope they're able to keep going for a long time...

I recently got a reply to one of my topics, and this person sent a tweet saying how tokyopop is starting to have a decline in sales and having negative cash flows. This is kind of important because a lot of physical BL manga, and i mean A LOT, are under tokyopop (known also as LOVE LOVE on most BLs). Here's a list of some BLs:

4. Bride of Ignat
5. Monster and Ghost
6. Eternal Covenant
7. Lullaby of the Dawn
8. My Beautiful Man
9. etc.
Although nothing is confirmed so far, it appears that they have been doing bad for a while. Tokyopop has really high quality translations and it would be said to see them go, and I say this as I have bought many of my manga from them. So if you can, please support them!! I know most of us are broke teenagers/young adults, but whenever you can please support them!!
