Many may say this story is a no no but for me I quite like it. It has great story flow and it made me tear up at the part where I thought Andrei will never come back. And yes at first I didn't want to continue reading it since it was too toxic for me.. which I actually dropped it, but I gave it a chance and began to read it, which made me finish it in one day.
Also it wasn't Lesset's fault to be that way, he doesn't even understand what kind of feelings he is experiencing with Elise at that time and plus his a dragon born, which he might tend to follow what his instincts are saying to him in order to survive. Additionally, dragons love collecting things that are shiny and appealing to their eyes. Also Lesset was born and raised as a loyal dog, so ye don't blame him for being shit to his wife.
But in the end everything turned out amazing. The ending was very happy I must say, so don't drop the story and give it a chance.
