It's not a dramatic discovery. After roy beat lev in upcoming duel, the count called for adi to beat her up bc he's angry that adi told roy the family's secret sword technique.

After that red hair duke came to get adi out of there and brought her to his room but adi refused to be treated for her injury (bc then she need to take off her shirt)

Duke basically put every puzzle piece (healthy adrina and sickly adrian, living adrian and dead adrina, adi so desperate to break duke's curse to break free from grimaldi, lev being hella disrespectful to adi) and get into a conclusion that adi is the female of the grimaldi cursed twin, and confirmed it when he touched adi's neck but felt to Adam's apple (adi always wore high turtleneck so no one would notice)
