I think it’s more of a thing where he DID have a little psychotic break but when he woke up in the hospital and saw home boy he realized that he was the only person he had left so he faked amnesia
That makes sense! Although if he had played Cheong-rim the whole time that would have been pretty impressive imo. But his reactions after his parents deaths felt so raw to me, so it must have been real. Maybe getting away from the general toxicity of Red Mansion helped his overall mental state afterwards?
I’m a bit confused about the ending, was Sungkyung faking his hallucinations and stuff the whole time? Or just the end part after the suicide attempt?
