Camelia shoud’ve ended up with Ian imo. I feel like the FL would’ve been so much happier if she ended up with Ian.
Ian saw her for who she truly was from the get-go. Camelia should’ve realized that he’s been the only one treating her like a lady while she was Camelius. He continuously pursued her despite knowing her status without breaking boundaries — he knew when to stop. Yes, he does get cheeky and tease Camelia from time to time but he never once forced himself on her. He’s a yearner guys T__T.
Honestly there is not much chemistry between Claude and Camelia — their dynamic was boring as hell. Furthermore, the duke was selfish and manipulating af. He hid her mother’s letter because he felt insecure. On the other hand, Ian offered to step in and try to save someone Camelia deeply cared about (Claude) so that she wouldn't be devastated. (But Camelia insisted on finding Claude)
Idk if others will agree with me but I always thought that Ian's priority was Camelia's happiness, while Claude's priority was being with Camelia.
