Yeah, she had people she told the truth to in the past, but pretty sure they didn't go as far as being able to find out about the gem she ate. He is also the one who saves her. There's also that question of why on that day does she come back to. So lots of significance. Basically, if you don't understand, I suggest you read again. You might have been skipping over or taking for granted all of ML's effort and support for her. Even the prince is going the extra mile because he likes her in that way.
No, in fact I've followed and reread this series for a long time. No, what I don't understand is the need to add romance to this, that's what I find forced.
I don't see the need. In fact, throughout their relationship, I find it forced that he became interested in her, while I find the protagonist to be like most of the regressors, a stupid person who wasted several lives just to realize the most obvious thing...
How is she stupid for taking lifetimes to get to a point where she can succeed in her revenge? It’s reiterated in the story over and over how powerless she is due to her status as a commoner. She has even less leverage as an orphan and ex thief? She’s smart but she literally didn’t have access to any resources or knowledge on how to succeed. Cocoa literally shows how the biggest strongpoint in regression is rebuilding those close relationships faster than it took the last time. As a lady of waiting she should’ve had a higher position in the Prince’s palace but she literally had to blackmail the Queen for it. All cocoa had to do as a noblewoman was to declare it. It’s a continuous point of the story that the mc isn’t dumb, she just doesn’t have the power of nobility on her side like everyone else

┑( ̄Д ̄)┍ I still don't understand the point of adding romance to this series, it seemed so forced.
