This was not an American comic at all. On the contrary it felt like the comic was set in America but everyone was behaving very Korean.
ah yeah, it's set in America but honestly, pretty useless setting overall. I think the author of the novel just wanted to semi use NY since it's actor adjacent but it couldve just stayed in korea

I don’t think the setting of the story was completely useless. I believe it makes more sense with their relationship dynamic because in Korea they wouldn’t be openly gay and accepte by the public
