Yeah but I don't understand why he had to wait all this time to think it was time to go separate ways. It doesn't make sense to me ok he's traumatized but then he should've cut ties right then. And if not then all the time spent together after should've been enough to erase it. He doesn't have th guts to date her cuz he see her so highly so he looks for reasons and boum found this perfect one. That's literally it, in other words he's pathetic and that's ok but leave her alone then
he’s just a chronic overthinker imo. it’s super easy to overthink and blame yourself for a situation like this so DO NOT downplay his feelings just because you see both sides of the story
