It’s the way he was a bottom in the redemption arc that didn’t sit right with me, like he thought he should be the bottom as some kind of penance? Idk. Also I believe a person can change for sure, but he caused his ex so much pain and suffering, and that wasn’t addressed enough.
I'm all for character redemption arcs but I would've wanted a story for Yumi rather than the other guy. He got the spotlight on the prequel already, a story on Yumi and how he lived after the abuse would've had me more hooked. Skipped most of the 2nd couple.
