Exactlyyyyy. Being young makes us naive, not fucking stupid. They clearly had some trust in each other right? Why did she decide his entire opinion on their relationship with a clearly misunderstood statement????? Like if she just pauses to think she will realise that she is over complicating his answers to suit her thought process of him breaking up with her!!!! Where is her trust???? Her considerate attitude???? Huh???
Yeah, I'm not a fan of her being completely inconsiderate of ML and his feelings of all this. I understand getting caught up in your own emotions and being overwhelmed with insecurities, but FL was out of hand here. She, herself, even admits she's wrong on many things about this but still continues to run away in the end. Her pride got in the way, and atp, she'd rather protect herself from a "rejection" that she made up in her head. This was a major fumble on FL's end.

FL is quite literally the epitome of self-sabotage. It's clear that she only heard half of that conversation, but she decides to doom over it completely. She doesn't even TRY to clear this up with ML nor doesn't even explain why exactly she's upset or what she's insecure about. And when ML shows up, she doubles down, lashes out at him, doesn't let him talk then ends things one-sidedly. FL is letting her insecurities take over, she's twisting ML's words and actions, ultimately sabotaging this good "relationship" she has. I know they're young, but seeing characters act like this makes me want to pull my hair every time.
