Guess the raising pig arc is a parallel of her childhood.
Her dad invested in her appearance, gave her the best dresses, jewels, etiquette teachers to sell FL to the best buyer. He never liked her and only saw her as a return on investment.

Meanwhile, FL raised the pigs, cared for them and gave them the best food without realising it would quicken their slaughter.
While her father's actions were intentional and driven by greed hers were not.
Both FL and the pigs were raised for an objective. FL was meant to marry into the imperial family and pigs should be killed for their meat. FMl's end is marriage and the pigs end is death. I think marrying Philipp would have been akin to death for Ange or at least her inner child with the weight of expectations and the pressure of her status as empress.

It's quite funny how she managed to regain freedom through a marriage she initially didn't want ( let my girl do cartwheels barefoot goddamn it !! ┻┻︵ヽ(`Д´)ノ︵┻┻)

I truly think if Aiden had slaughtered the pigs she would have gone through with her escape plan and gone alone with her father's plan.

The little three pigs are so cute ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ and the wedding was great too !
