While her father's actions were intentional and driven by greed hers were not. Both FL and the pigs were raised for an objective. FL was meant to marry into the imperial family and pigs should be killed for their meat. FMl's end is marriage and the pigs end is death. I think marrying Philipp would have been akin to death for Ange or at least her inner child with the weight of expectations and the pressure of her status as empress.

I truly think if Aiden had slaughtered the pigs she would have gone through with her escape plan and gone alone with her father's plan.
