He did love her but the story has more to it afterall isn't he the one who turned back time
I'm not so sure about this but according to those who read the novel, this man did love her, this is another "I want to protect her but I don't want to tell her" trope + he was the one who turned back time when she died, apparently going berserk when he found out she was murdered
I don't know about you but I don't really want him to fall in love with her or at least not that quickly, if he didn't love her at the first life he shouldn't fall for her at first sight at the second it feels kinda forced to me
