honest thoughts on this manhwa

I read the whole thing and honestly, it was an okay story for me. Most of the comments here are valid though. The rape part in the beginning was genuinely disgusting and upsetting, and I completely understand why people hated it. But as someone who reads different types of BL and has experienced university life, I also think stories like this can reflect things that unfortunately happen in real life. Not to glorify or normalize rape at all, but there *are* professors who abuse their power, manipulate students, blackmail them, and take advantage of them. We shouldn’t ignore those situations or treat them as taboo. People should talk about them more and expose those kinds of disgusting individuals. The part where Jungwoo became paranoid honestly made me feel for him. As someone who has gone through really bad drama in life, I understand that feeling of constantly overthinking and becoming anxious because of what other people say. I also got really annoyed at the first episodes and coworkers when Jungwoo first started working at the company. Like seriously… mind your own business At the same time, I wish Jungwoo and Youngmin communicated more honestly with each other. A lot of their problems became worse because of miscommunication and lack of transparency. If they had been more open with each other, things probably wouldn’t have escalated so much.

I do really love this story. ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

I’m sorry if the phrase “not to glorify/normalize rape” came off wrong but I do think these situations unfortunately exist in real life and I think stories touching on those topics can open discussions about them when handled properly ヾ(☆▽☆)
