eh honestly it’s just that this work has been translated to english but if you get to read it fully in korean, almost every “threats” and “aggression” from both of these characters were delivered in a very unserious, overdramatized korean tones bcs it’s a rom-com settings/genre ^^
think of it like ppl saying “stupid/dumbass” to associate it with some kind of rudeness and non positive tones but saying “stupid” in korean is actually most likely associated with a flirty-like-word (like stupid -rude- and stupid -flirty- in korean actually spelled + pronounced differently as well but translated as the same word in english, losing the right nuances). that’s how nuances help to deliver the right messages. translating stuff to english make every playful/overdramatic korean phrases lost it nuances but i can guarantee you that in raws, most of those threats are being delivered in a non aggressive way. it just for shits and giggles they’re not actually that aggressive with eo xd
Ik some people bitch about him being too aggressive and how it's not okay to threaten violence against your partner, but guys, he's so fucking cute.
