It is the clearest indicator of a willingness to commit violence, even if it's a one-off or they love-bomb you after or whatever. If you ever have been strangled by your partner try to get out immediately, this includes if a partner fails to respond to a safe word during consensual sex---you are in danger otherwise. This is regardless of your sex, your partner's sex, your sexuality, etc., this is universally dangerous.
We can all appreciate yandere characters & all the great things about them, but pls do not romanticize them to such a degree to allow it to affect your reality. In this case there must be a firm line between reality and fiction, we can appreciate the fantasy but stay grounded in reality.
