Love the concept and the story, it's unique and does have those moments of the unique environment it's set in. The conflicts are understandable and the solution is usually good. Love the character, every character was pretty good, and it was nice seeing that none of the characters were forgotten till the end, tho i do think it's a lot of characters, some definitely lacking.
Especially love Louis, wish he could've had a different end ngl, it would really like up with his final speech too kinda. I liked him much more than mc ngl, he had such a unique and loveable journey and also he looks really good. Also i loved melon, his cunningness was hella fun to see and also I'd say, a pretty good villain.
I do think that towards the end, they just started introducing and doing random stuff sometimes, some plot just makes little sense, some just felt like a pure plot armour and absolute bullshit. And maybe it's just me not understanding but i don't understand why they all never actually teamed up till the end, you've got all this op characters yet the only real spotlight is always on mc who miraculously gets saved every time, not helped but just saved. And especially towards the end, he just didn't seem serious or really he had a complete character change of sort.
I do think the romance was lacking, i love Haru but man, they really forgot about her halfway, i was loving her from the beginning, but then they just dumbed her down and at times i just was thinking about wtf she was doing. For something that started with them being different, the story basically did not even properly handle the topic. I'd even say Louis and Legosi had better chemistry.
Overall it's a good story and a good read, but romance definitely isn't this storys strong point. 3/4 instances of interspecies romance and all let down, mcs grandma who just for some reason wanted to die(like just why, she just died for fun of it), the thing with the friend of haru that died (the story didn't gaf about them literally the next panel), melons mom was actually a good story of tragedy/betrayal but that dad just was introduced for no reason?, and then haru and mc, like they didn't even have proper moments together, louis and juno, they could've worked but dunno why they didn't.
