As the story progresses you’ll see that she went on a long expedition with Jason in her past life where she learned most of her battle skills and basically had to fight for her life cause no one else would was gonna protect her, so it’s probably just the mental experience
Yes and she wins more by over powering her but by calculatedly using Angelique's weakness and field in-experience against her
