Yesss like I’m sorry but the amount of like the threats and hints at rape in this story is way too much the first ending was literally fine we could’ve left it like that. The fact that we continued only to enter this shithole pmo. It’s so annoying that the author had to put hyunwoo out just to allow whatever excuse of a trope this is to proceed
Literally, I was actually kinda excited because it left off before they got together so I thought “oh since we’re continuing we’ll finally get some romance between the two”
Only for us to get this shitty “love rival” and for all characters to lose like all their character development and act kind of out of character (Hyunwoo not giving a fuck about Iltak and then Iltak just letting this happen) just so we can get more rape threats, actual sexual assault (force kiss, the other stuff is also sexual assault but at least nothing was physically done to him YET, yes I’m still pissed about that kiss)
And then not have either of the characters be romantic at ALL like it feels we took one step forward and then 20 steps back
Like what was the whole point of getting Iltak to be more comfortable with Hyunwoo and telling people to back off, getting over his insecurities if he was just going to go back to square one?? And then Hyunwoo to lean on Iltak about all of his stuff with his dad and not let it interfere with his relationship at school if all it took was his father to get arrested once for him to completely abandon it and not want Iltak to see that side of him (when it has already happened multiple times before?? With no issue?)
And for Iltak to just believe that this guy doesn’t remember or care about how Iltak bullied him the past BRO. THATS LITERALLY THE ONLY REASON HES HERE like was it not obvious when his past friends warned him by explaining the situation? And he’s giving NO EFFORTS to apologize or make up for it despite how much he wants to? And how before with the past love rival with orange hair he was very active in drawing a line and understanding him, even trying to make up for past mistakes with him so that they can at least end things on a positive note. It’s so frustrating, if Iltak didn’t lose all his character growth he genuinely could’ve resolved this arc easily in one or two chapters but no, he had to revert back to how he was in chapter one solely so that we can get him sexually assaulted and a dragged on arc
Man and I was so proud of him too and how he handled the last guy, he was very mature about it so it really just sucks
My blood was actually boiling bc of iltak because why is it when the green hair is trying to help you and make you feel better you’ve decided to put your tough boy act on. Like no your not tough and it’s very obvious.
Literally, he was just trying to help and he had actual good plans to help out that even if he didn’t wanna involve the green haired friend like he claimed, he still could’ve used the advice or hell skips class/school since his whole thing is being a delinquent
Why the fuck did he think he could still handle it on his own, he learned from when the orange haired guy bullied him that he’s too weak to do anything
And yeah I’m gonna be honest, I wanted to see how bad it would get so I read the raws and genuinely I think I might drop it for the next couple of chapters cuz now I’m just pissed off again
No it does not get better, if you want to know what happens next basically:
*spoilers* the crazy guy now does the same shit orange haired guy did where he’s now “dating” Iltak, making out with him every chance he gets and forcing Iltak to roleplay how they were as kids even going as far as sexually assaulting him and leaving hickeys all over Iltak’s body to the point that when he does kiss Hyunwoo, Iltak is so traumatized he throws up immediately
So yeah it does not get better, this happening in the course of the next 2-3 chapters, at least now Hyunwoo knows and will prob do something (raws end up to that point so I don’t know) but bro my bloods boiling too now at this point he’s actually getting raped and he’s fr doing less than he did before

Yeah okay I should’ve stopped reading when it “ended” the first time. Why are they doing absolutely NOTHING about the new guy, like why the fuck is Hyunwoo not going to school despite knowing what Iltak is going through (probably not the specifics but he knows how Iltak is treated without him PLUS he knows the new guy is horrible) like I get what he’s going through but he can come at least once and put a stop to everything
But even then the issue is Iltak like BRO WHY ARE YOU LETTING THIS HAPPEN because you deserve it? Yeah you did horrible things and yeah you do kinda deserve it but mf apologize and then move on, contact Hyunwoo or a teacher or SOMEONE about this, he’ll even take your friend’s offer, you don’t have to go with him if you don’t want him to be involved but follow the schedule he gave you, don’t be in class during break and go to the library at lunch. Like bro you’re doing NOTHING and it’s pissing me off
And then the threats of rape bro GO TO A TEACHER
And not to mention he just lost his first kiss to this guy oh my god I hate this trope so much
This guy doesn’t need to be a “love rival” and it’s just pissing me off because it feels like the author is forcing it so much and dragging it on. Can this arc be over already
I’m sorry for the rant I’m just so pissed off by this arc, it’s my least favorite trope and this chapter just set me over the edge. If I wanted to read this crap I should’ve just gone and read cherry blossoms season 5
