im not too sure about this either, i thought so as well but then he also mentions wanting to marry her at some point. of course that could just be in a competitive way as opposed to actually liking her romantically im not 100% sure lol
i understand that he's an ally to the ducal houses but he's lowkey moving like he likes riche romantically??? maybe im reading it wrong but i feel like he acts pretty similarly to rovenhaff in terms of the whole despondent 2nd male lead thing. i thought maybe she might have a single male friend who isn't romantically interested in her but hey what do i know
