I think this last panel is setting us up for the transition next chapter since even though aliens don’t adhere to sexes, the human children will see Ryder as “big, scary dad” but I think if that does happen, Ryder will either be very proud and take up the mantle or will adamantly remain mom. Either way, I’m enthusiastic to see his reaction!!

one thing i love abt this manhwa is the concept of 'mom' having no gender. anyone can become mom if they wish and strive to do so. it is not bound by biology and goes beyond what human society thinks. this is why i get a lil miffed when ppl call rider dad. he sees himself as mori's mom just like everyone in the fah clan household. if he changes his mind and decides to call himself dad, then it is only right to honor his wishes.
