I’m not demeaning it at all. What I was thinking of is that the usual way that MC backgrounds are written is generally quite loud and chaotic, in a way. Sakura’s, meanwhile, is quieter and more introspective, with little breadcrumbs that lead up to the climax of the reveal. Suo’s is p loud and sudden, and involves an entirely new group of people that will be interacted with, the sort of plot twist people don’t exactly expect in all seriousness. The comparison was less on the stories being presented and more on the approach taken
for an mc sakuras back story is really not that crazy. But I think that helps make him a bit more unique in other ways
Kinda funny how suo’s backstory is more dramatic (??) than sakura’s lol. Usually, you’d get this type of lore from a series’ MC
