I wasnt thinking they'd be suddenly together but let's just agree this was a useless chapter with 0 substance. For the cliffhanger we were left off last time. The chapter was just a huge disappointment
Exactly my thoughts!!! I think that JJK confessing to KD after waking up would put KD in a difficult position considering his feelings have doubt in them, which would also put JJK in a difficult position if they immediately started dating. And the communication in this kind of relationship would also not be the healthiest, both would have second thoughts if the other is really conveying everything that they are really feeling. On a side note I hope we will get more KD focus in the chapters where they are apart.
I dont think this is a useless chapter. It finally establishes the next step to Dan and JK's relationship. They are now both going their own separate ways for the mean time to fix their own issues (Dan with his grandma and what he will do next career wise, JK with his career and sitch with Junmin if that ever gets resolved as well as dealing with his feelings after letting go of Dan). In order for them to grow again after all that has been learnt, they need to grow again individually.
Right? I feel like right now is establishing them to deal with their own selves this time before getting together again. JK literally just found out what he truly wants and needs to work on himself if he wants to be with Dan but with the current sitch in his career, he definitely prioritizes Dan's health and safety versus his want for a relationship. Dan on the other hand also has to work on his career if he does leave JK plus taking care of grandma before her time.
Guys, I dont think them suddenly going kumbaya is a better end when theres so much loose ends on their part. Dan still feels a certain responsibility towards Jaekyung and although likes him cant put his feelings first. Jaekyung on the other hand feels SO MUCH GUILT with what he has done and caused in Dan's life (esp almost dying by association) that he had come to terms with letting him go for the best of Dan. This is definitely a start of the change in their relationship but they have to go other ways for now.
