Ohh I can kind of see what you mean. I suppose he did say he basically raised them and see them more as his children. I just wish that not everything had to be his responsibility. I grew up in a very similar situation to his, with absentee parents and three younger siblings to take care of. Being able to share the burdens of the life you’re dealt, with the people you love and who love you, I think is quite important.
I totally agree with this! It’s important as siblings to stick to eachother and share the burdens of life whatever it may be, my siblings and i have always shared our parents responsibities (now that they are older and have had a hard time with tech and such) and as the youngest still living at home, the responsibility naturally lies with me, but my siblings are there to help anytime so for that i’m eternally grateful.
But again, i totally agree!

I am really loving this story, but his siblings are too old to not be contributing to the running of the household. Like I don’t understand why the guy who is working full-time is also doing all the housework..? Surely a junior high student could manage laundry..? Also, is there seriously, any reason a high school student couldn’t get a part-time job? Like he wants to be a doctor, but with that work ethic..? I don’t expect him to have a very bright future if all he can manage is a bit of studying.
