I think this follows a yaoi logic, where the man being abused is downplayed. I don’t think is virtue signaling to feel uncomfortable and be empathetic towards Yeonwoo in a situation where he is clearly being raped. The idea that he secretly is where he wants to be downplays the importance of verbal consent. This way, anyone can claim a SA victim secretly just wants it. Not everything we consume has to be morally correct, but as readers cheering for SA is a bit too much. We can read this manhwa without glorifying it.
