Yk what this might be my favorite execution of amnesia arc in a story. It’s not a simple ‘haha i lost my memory so i’m different’ but the author actually delve into the feeling of the currently amnesiac person with how others treated them. Like yes it must be horrible seeing everyone close to you wished the new you to disappear and the old you to come back. it’s like nobody accept and like the current you and prefer the other version. And that must be hurt. I aint gonna lie i feel so sad when 18 yo vasily asked yuno to make a funeral to him when he’s gone.
Also i really like that they address the problems with their relationship. Im gonna be real it’s rare to see the uke making rl mistake, it’s always the seme. So it’s refreshing here that both people have their own faults
