I understand your pov, I also think that Haebom was forced to leave Taesung and that he still loves him and that we might like the ending but tbh I don't want to bear with a story that suddenly contains after the author fed us with such a healthy relationship portrayal during all these years since the first chapter was posted....
usually, it's the contrary, authors give us dynamics before showing redemption etc. I'm not saying that it is better, just that it does not have that feeling of betrayal I currently feel with CBAW. it was such a good BL that brings back such good memories, I remember that I used to adore this BL, rereading it every year, recommending it to my friends...
also the artwork looks a bit uncanny to me but perhaps it's just me hahaha ! thanks for your opinion though!!
I agree, in the beginning I was very unhappy with the new season and direction as well and complaining too so I understand the criticism but it’s getting really old and tiresome with the same comments every single week. It’s been 14 chapters/weeks now since season 5 started, people need to stop writing the same old shit and start commenting on the actual new storyline and discuss the chapters. It’s kinda giving me flashbacks to the Wet Sand comment section where everyone would say the exact same crap that had nothing to do with the story but instead trashing each other （￣へ￣）I’m not gonna stop reading it because I don’t want to, I’m in too deep now but I don’t want to keep commenting the same old things over and over wondering why the author is doing this, and so on and so forth. I wanna see people discussing their theories of what is happening, has happened and could happen. Hopefully, the author will steer the storyline back into the direction we all know and love so let’s have faith ╥﹏╥
At this point of the story I don't think there's any more need to criticize this new season at every chapter...
It's pretty obvious that the author wanted to add some drama to the story, Haebom didn't really leave Teasung of his own free will, he still loves his hubby very much and certainly someone threatened him if he didn't leave Taesung...so atp let's see what happens without criticizing so much.
Don't get me wrong, I also think that this new narrative arc is kinda forced, useless and definitely ruined the happy and satisfying ending we got in the pervious season...I also agree that the author was better off starting a brand new story rather than continuing this one, but there's nothing we can do now.
I don't ask to "enjoy" this new season but at least let's all try to bear with it, we might also end up liking the ending...who knows ╥﹏╥
