Well if she's responding kindly to it, then you should court her to get her to trust you! I have trust issues too and I tend to friend zone people because I'm afraid that they'll eventually leave me if I give in. If you show her that you're willing to stay and work hard for it, then she'll eventually soften up and come to trust you!

I have a big fat ass crush on this girl(i am also female) and I confessed to her on Monday. She responded yesterday and told me she liked me too but because of trust issues she wants to stay friends for now. I really like her and I am reading too much into her every action, like I'm in trouble with my impure imagination rn. The issue is I keep thinking we are dating. We are 100% not in a relationship. Istg I have no clue if she even likes me, but I keep expecting something from her. How do I fix this?
