Jiwook falls into a coma, during which he remembers all the atrocities he committed against Juyeon. When he finally wakes up, both of them break down in tears. Juyeon begins to walk out of the hospital, believing his revenge is complete, but Jiwook starts sobbing out of pure terror. From that point on, Jiwook (now living with juyeon) attempts suicide multiple times and develops an extreme codependency on Juyeon. Eventually, Jiwook begins to develop "romantic feelings" for him, and that is how they ultimately end up "together"
