You onto something bc what?? Since when did dark people not get hickeys..? If you can see them bruise, you can get hickeys.
I think they mean the hickey looks like a bruise. I have brown skin and people would say my neck bruises looked like hickeys.
Yea I’ve been feeling iffy bout it too also the whole thing of him being chubby and dark weirded me out
tan skin representation is already minimal and this isn’t even his actual skin tone, which i get. in that same note, to say you won’t get hickeys cause you’re dark is… odd to say the least. then to add to the oddness of it all, he says it will look like a bruise, which is exactly what hickeys are on any skin complexion. idk author-nim you kinda lost me with tht one a lillll bit but we move on!
