Listen, it’s actually very simple to understand. First of all, yes, mental health issues are real, and that’s completely okay. But I’m not missing the point here. The way the story was written felt too dramatic and unrealistic.
Like, mental illness is stopping you from dating someone or talking openly? He’s completely fine when it comes to having sex, but the moment responsibility comes up, suddenly it’s “I have mental issues, I’m crazy, I only want to be friends” even though he clearly liked the girl.
And the funniest part is that one honest conversation could’ve solved the entire misunderstanding. I can’t even blame the character because the author chose to write the story that way. But honestly, if they wanted the story to feel natural instead of fantasy-like, then this kind of behavior wouldn’t be appealing in real life. Most people wouldn’t like a man with no backbone....?? So what's your opinion in this..??
I don’t want him to be some rich, perfect guy, and I’m pretty sure nobody really wants that. And I have no issue with his mental illness either. My problem is very simple: he doesn’t want to face reality or have a proper conversation, and that’s what pisses me off.
Just imagine you’re in love with someone, you’ve had sex with them, and you both clearly know there are feelings involved but then they suddenly say, “I just want to be friends,” and start avoiding you. Try thinking from the girl’s perspective too, and you’ll understand why I’m so annoyed.... ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
Girl, we can’t justify everything by saying, “He’s mentally traumatized, that’s why he can’t face reality.” Even if that sounds cruel, just imagine all of this happening in real life.
Season 1 started in a much more realistic way, which is why people enjoyed it and connected with the real-world emotions and situations. But then it suddenly turned into this mess. That’s just not how things work in real life.
I absolutely agree with u that the season 1 was better bcz it rly was peak lwk and season 2 is way too messy bcz there's this another guy too (forgot his name) but what i wanna say is that his fear towards losing and hurting haneul again is valid bro like imagine u lose everything u ever worked for since u were a kid and then everyone looks at u in pity and u feel more guilty as time passes and start to lose ur mind and then on top of that when ur showing a tantrum u hurt one of ur most important ppl in life that happened BCZ OF U and hes alr guilty and alr feeling that hes not worthy enough to deserve anything and overthinking it.... I am yapping this much bcz I am a athlete (swimmer) and I actually got hurt in my left shoulder which I had to rest for 6 months and the way everyone was treating me i was losing my mind... so trust me hes not a loser hes still figuring out his life bro
Actually, I’m also a man, and I’ve thought about this a lot. Keeping the plot as it is, it was pretty easy to understand that everything was fine for him when it came to sex, kissing, and all that stuff. But the moment it came to actually taking responsibility, suddenly all these problems appeared which felt totally unnecessary.
It seems like the author really wanted to make the story feel natural and realistic, but instead, they ended up losing the spirit that made Season 1 so special. And honestly, that makes me really sad.(╯︵╰,)

I am sorry to say... This is not worth 9.5 star I mean bro the (ML) is a loser...??? I read enough romantic novels at this point I can say this guy have no backbone... (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸.... Really playing with my patience...... I mean you are so pussy that you can't even have a 1 vs 1 conversation...?? I start this from 2025 to 2026.... And this guy is as pussy as ever...
