I agree that Lia and Ru should return sooner, but it's already stated that they need the blood AFTER Kahl won (maybe when she became emperor?) and is "blessed" by the dragon (▰˘◡˘▰)

Ok but why does lia and the god have to be there for the whole thing?? They’ve already met the first king can’t they ask her for a drop of her blood to make her new body? I don’t think she’d mind especially after all the work they did helping her free the slave camps
