Literally helped her through all her struggles while all riftan did was yell at her and be rude….. he makes me hate him so much literally no character development whatsoever while maxi is trying her best. Wish she could slap some sense into him
Yeah Ruth helped her so much in her developments from learning about finances, finding her vocation in magic, her speech and overall giving her confidence.
He literally treated her person, unlike other who just look down on her or treat her as fragile. His approach was so refreshing and healing for her, and it eventually helped her to build up her self worth and pretty much everything lol.

Ruth is the mvp of Mcs development. I am glad that there is no love triangle but i think its also shame that he kinda solved a lot of mcs problems to just be side character, yknow.
